Windsurfing: Felixstowe Fludyers
Wind Direction: SW/W
Wind Stength: F3/4+
Surf / Sea State: bumpy
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: warm
Max Speed: 22.45kts (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 18nm (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Spent the morning repairing my Phantom slot flusher and holes - again garden windy-text text text, found Steve C and Paul V rigging 8.5 at the fludge. Rigged 8.7 H2 Pryde and had a great sail.
I was over powered pretty much most of the time due to 155L RRD 50cm fin dragging, and my 7.7H2 would have been a better choice. Paul V / and Maker was hanging on to 8.5 easily which must mean old age is having an effect on me!
I cant hold the big sheets anymore.. Sea was bumpy going out, but you could use the swell back in, very nice. Staying upwind was essential as the tide ripped out at first, and Maker did the walk of shame on his first run.
Paul V used a 50p Ebay Fanatic dog board to out run me on the RRD to the beach on 1/2 mile reach, and stuck his finger up as well, not good!
RRD's ain't as fast as my old Tabou Rockets, but they ride sweeter and turn much better, so I will have to eat humble pie this time.
The wind freshened late afternoon, and I just couldn't hang on - so quit whilst ahead was a good call.
I am sleeping whilst writing this...knackered :)
